I overwound my Cuckoo Clock & now it won't work – Help!?

I have an older Cuckoo Clock – the hang on the wall with the pendulums that hang down on chains. Well, I think I must have pulled the chains too far – the pendulums are now real close to the clock. Is there anything I can do to get it working again? Thanks!!

Cuckoo Clock Question?

I recently bought a hunter’s cuckoo clock with the dancing people. It has three chain pulls and weights- I’m guessing, one for each of the qualities (the clock, the cuckoo bird, and the dancing people).

I have two questions..
1) How do I know which weight goes on which chain pull?
2) When the minute hand gets to about the 55-minute mark, the ticker stops working. Any help?

Hi, I am building up a cuckoo clock with my scroll saw from a pattern I got from the book "Building Wooden Clocks". The only problem is, I can’t find where to buy the parts for the clock anywhere. He talks about a "box" that he made sound like was already made. Please help me out if you have already made a cuckoo clock, or if you just know where to find it. Thank you.

An 8 day Cuckoo clock. Where do the connecting wires connect from the movement to the bellows and bird?

I have been asked to refurbish an old 8 day “Hunters Dead” Cuckoo clock. Unfortunately several pieces are missing. All of the connecting wires are gone so will be making those from my wire stock. Can you give me a diagram that shows how the connecting wire is placed for the bird and bellows? It is quite obvious that the two levers each move one of the bellows, but I do not know where the bird connects.
